Since 2020 until now, the HUGS PROJECT has taken the initiative to provide Free Education and Welfare Care to Stateless, Orphaned & Underprivileged Children by utilizing public funds. Up until August 2024, the HUGS PROJECT: RUMAH NGAJI is growing massively in providing education to 700 Stateless, Orphaned & Underprivileged Children in different locations;
- Kg. Bangau Bangau Semporna (150 students)
- Pulau Kulapuan Semporna (250 students)
- Kg. Panji Lahad Datu (150 students)
- Tebah Batang Lahad Datu (80 students)
- Felda Sahabat Lahad Datu (50 students)
Potentially, it is expected that the 700 children population may increase to 7,000 in the next 10 years. If NO ACTION is taken, these 7,000 growing populations will become another social issue statistic that we read in mass media. Prevention is better than the cure.
RUMAH NGAJI HUGS PROJECT has been operating for 4 years with the help of generous public donations. No funding comes from government agencies, private corporations, or the Zakat Fund. The management cost per student is RM50 per month. For 700 students; RM35,000 is REQUIRED every month.

We highly encourage you to join the SPONSOR-A-STUDENT CAMPAIGN by contributing RM50 every month consistently. The value of your RM50 each month holds significant meaning for us. It will cover students’ education materials, meals, welfare care, medical needs, teacher’s allowances, and also building management.
